Dream meaning of bones

To see your bones protruding from the flesh, denotes that treachery is working to ensnare you.

To see a pile of bones, famine and contaminating influences surround you.

Physical Physical
You are focusing on your stability, courage to take a stand, inner strength, and the structures you live by. Broken bones represent disrupted energy flow in a particular area of the body.
Emotional Emotional
You are too hard or emotionally fossilized. You need to release rigidity and resistance. You feel unsupported and weak.
Spiritual Spiritual
You are getting to the essence of something. Skeletons pertain to death, either literal or metaphorical. You are examining how you receive from your unconscious and transmit energy from your lower self to higher self and vice versa.

SYMBOLISM SYMBOLISM
A symbol of life as seen in the character of a seed. The Hebrew word luz stands for the mandorla, embracing both the tree and its inner, hidden and inviolable heart. But according to Jewish tradition, it also refers to an indestructible, corporeal particle, represented by a piece of very hard bone; it is, then, symbolic of the belief in resurrection, and is comparable with the symbol of the chrysalis from which the butterfly emerges.

Bones can obviously represent death, either literal or metaphorical. They can also symbolize a state of reduction or deprivation (as in being “stripped to the bare bones” and being left with a “skeleton crew”).

Less ominously, bones may simply refer to the structure of something.

Bones tend to be associated with death and the distant past. They predict problems, loss of excitement, and generally, indicate that we are going through a period of pessimism and dejection.

If you dream of a broken bone, the foundations of your real life and personal power could be teetering.

Goddesses that wear a necklace of bones around their necks or on their hip refer to the pressure of the passing and swiftness of time.

You are trying to connect with the underlying structure of things in your life and how you are being supported.

The skeleton at the core of our bodies is the foundation on which the whole system is built. Since most of the human body is soft and moist, we rely on the solid, durable, calcium-based bone structure for what little solidity we feel. Nothing can be any stronger than the foundation that supports it. This foundational structure is normally invisible to us, so to be dreaming of bones is to be getting a glimpse of issues that are normally hidden but are now visible.

Old bones might connect to issues in your past.

Broken Bones: You are dreaming of a loss to the foundational integrity of some aspect of your life.

Bones as foundational elements indicate that the essence of the stressor that is being expressed has to do with how something is structured or being supported.
If you dream of a bone being broken, it tells you that some area of your life is on shaky ground.
The solidity or strength beneath that which is creative or expressive is what is compromised.
If your dream included the injury itself, add the means by which your bones were broken to your interpretation, including if there was another person responsible.
The more creative you are with your rumination of these symbolic meanings, the more successful your interpretation will be.

Your bones give you structure, stability, and mobility, and dreams of bones offer clues about how structured and stable your life is.

If you see your bones in a dream but you aren’t injured, you have imposed a strict structure on your life.
If your bones break, your stability has been threatened. You might need to change the way you’ve structured your life – how much you work, how you take care of yourself, your priorities – before it all comes crashing down.
If you see someone else’s bones or a skeleton, you can see right through someone else. You know exactly what they’re up to.

A dream of seeing piles of bones is a presage of unhappiness through illness.

If you see a very thin person whose bones appear to stick out, be warned of impending disaster.
